The trip

What they bring home

FBLA is the largest business student organization in the world. The National Fall Leadership Conference gathers members from across the country at the Washington Hilton for three days of training. These students go to learn, and then they bring it back to Albemarle High School.

Executive workshops

Leadership, financial literacy and startup strategy, taught by people who do it for a living.

A national network

Peers, advisers and industry leaders from FBLA chapters across the country.

Back to Albemarle

Sharper competition skills and fresh ideas, shared with the whole chapter when they return.

Sponsor the trip

Own a business? Back these students.

A business sponsorship is an investment in local youth and in the people who will run Central Virginia's companies one day. Tell the students you are interested and they will be in touch about how you would like to be thanked.

Giving as a person? The donate button above is the fastest way.

This goes straight to the students' team page. Nothing is charged, and your details are never shown here.

Questions

Good things to ask

Who are the students?

Four members of the Albemarle High School FBLA chapter, led by their chapter president and adviser. They are minors, so we are keeping their names and photos off this page.

Where does my gift go?

The donate button takes you to the official place to give, chosen by the chapter. If the button is not live yet, the club is still setting that up, and the sponsor form above is the way to say you want in.

Is it tax deductible?

That depends on how the chapter receives the money. Please ask before you count on it. This page does not promise it.

What if they raise more than they need?

The goal is the whole team's trip. Ask the chapter how any extra would be used before you give, if that matters to you.

Who made this page?

Roost Studio, a small studio in Crozet, built it as a gift. The students run the numbers, the asks and the thank yous themselves.
